Interested in partnering with KidsTeam or having your child become a part of our co-design research? Email Jason Yip at jcyip@uw.edu.

Interested in being a part of KidsTeam UW? Join us for a summer Directed Reading Group (DRG). Activities of this research group will include interacting as an adult design partner with children in co-design, working with researchers on multiple projects involving children and design, and running overall logistics to support the intergenerational design team. Applications start every April before the Summer (June-July). The KidsTeam DRG continues through Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. Email jcyip@uw.edu for more details.

At the University of Washington, we have a class about doing Participatory Design in the Libraries. In this class the students go to the library to do KidsTeam with the children in the community.  In this class students meet twice a week. One day is spent in class reading about the theory of Participatory Desgin and co-design whereas the the other day is spent at one of the libraries in Seattle.
